Women in Ministry (pt 1b) - Old and New Testament

July 24th, 2019

Pastor Jay continues with his series on Women in Ministry. In pt 1a, Pastor Jay revealed God's Original Design as seen in humanity's creation. In this part, he shows that even though the Fall affected Man/Woman relationships and authority, God still used women to minister to and lead His people. These two parts are foundational to understanding the "problem scriptures" about women in spiritual leadership and how they "should" act in church.

Women in Ministry (pt 1a) - God’s Original Design

July 19th, 2019

Should women minister? To what extent? Even in authority over men? These are long debated questions and the right place to start in answering them properly is by going back to the BEGINNING - GENESIS. WARNING! You may not like what you hear. But then again, God doesn't really care what we feel or think. It's our job to line up with His design! Enjoy!

Where Do We Go When We Die? (What does the Bible say?)

June 20th, 2019

When you read about death in the Old Testament and the New Testament, you'll soon notice something strange. In the OT, people go to their "fathers," they go to Sheol. Sheol? What's a Sheol? And in the NT, when people die, Paul says they go to be with God in heaven. WAIT? Is the Bible inconsistent? Is there a mistake? Nope! At one point in time, people went "down" and at another point people go "up." There is a pivotal moment in history when things changed and that's the point of Pastor Jay's message. Check it out. You will be amazed!

Why I’m A “Post-Trib” Rapture Guy!

August 9th, 2018

The Rapture. It's that thing where Christians are transformed and lifted off the earth to meet Jesus in the air prior to His messianic kingdom starting on earth. It's the separation of righteous from unrighteous before God's wrath falls on earth for sin. BUT there is a HUGE dispute amongst Christians about when this will occur (and even IF it will occur!). Many say before the Tribulation. Fewer say after the Tirbulation ends. Which is it? Judge for yourself. Pastor Jay presents the "Post-Trib" view and backs it up with scripture...and a little humor.

What is this Baptism Thing?

June 12th, 2018

When Christians are asked about the origins of baptism, it's sad to say that many think it's an innovation by Yeshua (Jesus) for His New Covenant believers to initiate them into the fellowship of believers. IN reality, baptism (water immersion) has deep Jewish roots and apply to more than just conversion to Judaism.
