Matthew 11 - Receiving the King - His Expectations

December 12th, 2016

In this message, Pastor Jay examines what seems to be a string of three unrelated statements from Matthew 11:25-30 including the well-known, "Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Yeshua is making a foundational declaration that leads us into the next chapter. Take a listen and be set free!

Matthew 11 - Rejecting the Kingdom Because Of Expectations

December 5th, 2016

After resetting the crowd's expectations about Himself and John, Yeshua now warns them that there are consequences for rejecting God's kingdom, especially if they do so because it doesn't line up with their expectations. His remarkable miracles were all that was needed to confirm His message and help the people of the north Galilee area put their trust in Him. And yet, some rejected Him and His message. This is a VERY sobering message, not only for the people of that day but also for our day!
